Pittsburgh Radio History Book

Hey Everyone:

I found myself in the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at the Waterfront last week and by that section of individual books about the local communities in the Pittsburgh region. And in that section was a book specifically about the history of Pittsburgh radio. I should have bought a copy of it then, but now I am hitting my head especially since I'm back to the West Coast. Do any of you know what I am talking about or what the name of it could be? I was thinking about seeing if they sell it online.

Thanks!

I was actually a bit disappointed in the book. It has a lot of photos, very little information.

Boss that's the intention behind any and all of the "Images of America" books by Arcadia Publishing.

Aren't they the same kind of books that Cosmo Kramer came up with, the book with legs?

That doesn't lessen my disappointment with the book.

Agreed. Thought it would be more along the lines of "Broadcasting the Local News: The Early Years of Pittsburgh's KDKA-TV". Turns out it was just a photo album (not necessarily a bad thing, just not what most people expected from a book with that title I think)
