Pittsburgh Radio in January 2006 (Post-Howard)

This is my prediction of what will happen in January 2006 (Post-Howard) to radio in Pittsburgh:

WLTJ 92.9 FM 4.2 mi. Pittsburgh, PA ????? (CHR/Top 40?, Smooth Jazz?)
WRKZ 93.7 FM 2.5 mi. Pittsburgh, PA ????? (JACK-FM?)
WWSW 94.5 FM 2.1 mi. Pittsburgh, PA Oldies
WOGG 94.9 FM 43.4 mi. Oliver, PA Country
WKST 96.1 FM 3.2 mi. Pittsburgh, PA Top-40
WRRK 96.9 FM 3.2 mi. Braddock, PA ????? (JACK-FM?, CHR/Top 40?, Smooth Jazz?)
WOGI 98.3 FM 2.3 mi. Duquesne, PA Country
WSHH 99.7 FM 2.1 mi. Pittsburgh, PA Adult Contemporary
WZPT 100.7 FM 2.3 mi. New Kensington, PA ????? (JACK FM?)
WORD 101.5 FM 3.0 mi. Pittsburgh, PA Religious
WDVE 102.5 FM 4.2 mi. Pittsburgh, PA Rock
WOGH 103.5 FM 34.6 mi. Burgettstown, PA Country
WOGF 104.3 FM 25.4 mi. East Liverpool, OH Country
WPGB 104.7 FM 2.3 mi. Pittsburgh, PA News/Talk
WXDX 105.9 FM 3.4 mi. Pittsburgh, PA Alternative
WAMO 106.7 FM 13.8 mi. Beaver Falls, PA R&B/Hip Hop
WJJJ 107.1 FM 35.7 mi. Greensburg, PA Urban Adult Contemporary
WDSY 107.9 FM 2.3 mi. Pittsburgh, PA Country

Now I’m not saying that this will happen, things will indeed change in Pittsburgh radio once Stern goes to SIRIUS. Maybe K-ROCK or Star 100.7 or maybe WRRK (although they MISSED the JACK boat earlier) should flip to JACK-FM (What is JACK-FM, anyway?). As far as WLTJ is concerned, that station is SO struggling along with its sister, WRRK --- struggling 'LTJ is, like, 14th or 15th place. Maybe it should go CHR/Top 40 (to give 96.1 KISS some real local competition) or (Although it has been here before but deserves a second chance) Smooth Jazz. And if WRRK flips, what will this mean for BOB & TOM? Also, I keep hearing that ther will be a sixth FROGGY added. I do not know what frequency. Now, that is unbelievable. Is all this FROGGY coverage really necesssary? And I hope they don't flip Star 100.7 to Spanish, either.

Any thoughts?

Okay here's my thoughts,

WLTJ 92.9 FM 4.2 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (rap metal)
WRKZ 93.7 FM 2.5 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (change call letters to KDKA FM and broadcast the music from the weather channel's local forcast)
WWSW 94.5 FM 2.1 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (the all jingle station) the numbers don’t change
WOGG 94.9 FM 43.4 mi. Oliver, PA (goth porn groove)
WKST 96.1 FM 3.2 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (all starland vocal band, all the time)
WRRK 96.9 FM 3.2 mi. Braddock, PA (rock, classic rock, classic hits, or maybe just the sound of a cricket, just to confuse the froggy listeners
WOGI 98.3 FM 2.3 mi. Duquesne, PA (all mime radio) 1st station to do this, I wish them well
WSHH 99.7 FM 2.1 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (a call change they drop the 2nd "H" and add a "T" the name says it all then they keep playing the music they play now, except now they say what it is at the top of the hour)
WZPT 100.7 FM 2.3 mi. New Kensington, PA (for some reason the FCC will permitted a frequency change to 100.8 nobody can receive it except foreign radios)
WORD 101.5 FM 3.0 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (they add the word UP to the ID and the urban numbers go through the roof)

WDVE 102.5 FM 4.2 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (since they added the ID KQV FM, 1410 is now 3rd in the market way to go CC)
WOGH 103.5 FM 34.6 mi. Burgettstown, PA (to compete with the sound of the cricket that RRK is doing they are now playing the sounds of Locusts, and change to "Swarm FM" a radio war ensues lasting all of 2006 into early 2007

WOGF 104.3 FM 25.4 mi. East Liverpool, OH (they just sign off and get a 10 share in their demo)
WPGB 104.7 FM 2.3 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (a call change is in store also to WJQR “Jim Quinn Radio”)

WXDX 105.9 FM 3.4 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (they drop the “D” and add another “X” and just play really bad porn music)
WAMO 106.7 FM 13.8 mi. Beaver Falls, PA (they decide to live up to the calls and all you hear is the sound of running water, for those of you scratching your head AMO is Allegheny,Mon,Ohio
WJJJ 107.1 FM 35.7 mi. Greensburg, PA (they decide to serve the locals and play the music from the Idlewild merry-go-round, in stereo)
> WDSY 107.9 FM 2.3 mi. Pittsburgh, PA (biggest shock of all, they drop country and pick up a copy-cat format of the Pickle) it was a corporate decision

That was hilarious! EOM!

Very clever and downright funny indeed, but not what I had in mind though.
