I'm intrigued to see that the Broadcast Communications, Inc. stations have showed up again. They are occasional lower-ranked stations in the survey.
Both WKFB (770) and WEDO (810) showed up with better than a one share this month. The other stations did not show up in the 6+ shares, even big-signal WKHB (620).
The stations (and there are a handful):
WKHB (620) 5,000 day/50 night (AM station)
+ W222CB 92.3 translator
+ W231BM 94.1 translator
+ W271CW 102.1 translator
WKFB (770) 750 daytime only (AM station)
+ W248AR 97.5 translator
+ W286CZ 105.1 translator
WEDO (810) 1,000 daytime only (AM station)
+ W227DB 93.3 translator
KQV (1410) 5000 day/75 night (AM station)
+ WKGO (88.3) simulcast
WKVE-FM (103.1) FM in suburbs
WKHB-FM (103.9) FM in suburbs
Interestingly enough, the WKHB/WKFB group compares favorably to the WAKY group in Louisville. The difference is that while BCI has its stations scattered all across different formats, the WAKY cluster (as a unified force) is within one point of being #1 in the market!
WAKY (620) 500 day/500 night (AM station)
+ W262CO 100.1 translator
+ W285ER 104.3 translator
+ W292FS 106.3 translator
WAKY (103.5) Radcliff (FM in suburbs)
There's no telling what might happen if BCI turned its focus (and most of its signals) to a single format. I know what I would recommend,
C.
