This poor wacko with the shaved head (only making himself look more stupid than he ordinarily is) now has lost "Vinnie" his alleged criminal partner who did all the work for him, and now poor Bob Mitchell has to work for the first time in his life. He has no flunkie to depend on as he strolls into the studio at air time with no clue as to what's going on. Or dropping off the radar for weeks after Katrina as Vinnie and the rest of the WWL crew did great jobs in BR after the storm and WWL covered his a** for some reason. Where was Bob? Where's Waldo?

Now that this phony is on his own and has to use his brains watch the quick fizzle.
 
Bob Mitchell & Little Timmy Tubber...now that's a match. I'd take bets on who would go off the deep end first between those two. It'd be like hot grease & water. Make radio interesting again!
 
Have the powers to be at WWL lost their collective minds? Letting Bob Mitchell host Sports Talks with Hokie Gajan. It's bad enough hearing Mitchell host a home improvement show on Saturdays. The man has never as much as picked up a hammer in his life. And now, management has him doing sports! It shows total lack of credability. What happened to the self-proclaimed, gulf south's best sports team. They couldn't find one of their other guys host? Even Cory Johnson would be better to stomach, but Mitchell? PLEASE! And that stupid laugh of his. WWL has sunk to a new low. Buddy D has to be trying to kick the dirt off himself.
 
Please please please tell me this is not true! Lon Matherne doing sports? Entercom is out of their minds. Who is the market manager? This is the most unbelievable thing I have ever read. Maybe his son Lonnie, who knows even less about sports can be his sidekick.

Hey, look, as bad as Mitchell is, he is 50 times better at sports than Wilkie (Yes, Kenny Wilkinson) - at least he can finish a sentence, and he has not been arrested, tried, and convicted of sniffing jocks in the lockerroom.

Yeah, he's doing a great job. I heard him refer to the Greenbay Quarterback as Bart Starr. Pretty sure Bart hung up the cleats about 40 years ago. Who's in the line-up for Atlanta Bob? Red Grange and Bronko Nagurski?
 
I'm sure before Monday night's game, he have Jeff Van Note coming out of the booth & playing center for the Falcons. Plus, Tommy Nobis as starting middle linebacker. Hey, why not? Morten Andersen signed Monday. Who's next on moron Mitchell's list? Hokie Gajan? Just let him have his hammer & nails and pull him off weekdays.
 
The REAL Bob Mitchell has forgot more about radio than what the rest of us will ever learn. He's right up there with King Bob and T-Ben.
I've had the pleasure of being an intern at the Mighty 690 WTIX-AM while in college, under Bob Mitchell's tuteledge. He was a blast to work with, and alot of fun.
