Just a heads up to anyone interested that on Thursday June 9th modern rocker WBWC-FM/88.3 The Sting in Cleveland will be featuring The Pixies as part of their summer marathon series. Starting at 7am and running 18 hours til 1am The Sting will be playing nothing but Pixies stuff, various side projects, and tracks from the brand new Frank Black album. This all coincides nicely with CMJ Rock Hall Music Fest that kicked off today with two shows by The Pixies (one of them at the rock hall that I had the pleasure of attending.) Anyone not in the Cleveland area can listen online at www.wbwc.com Thanks!!

The Pixies are hotter than ever. All the indy hipsters that were probably 4 years old the first time around play the Pixies on the jukebox like crazy. Especially the song is she real?
 
But anytime the Pixies get play by anyone it is a good thing because subjectively speaking they are one of the best bands - EVER!!
