I was disappointed that WCAU/NBC 10 didn’t preempt their network skating show today around noon to air the Mayor’s press conference. I didnt check every channel so I don’t know if KYW /CBS 3 or Fox29 preempted their programming, I know WPVI/6ABC did. And KYW Newsradio aired about the first 15 minutes of the press conference
WPVI's coverage was terrible. Their reporter's were guessing and saying useless stuff. The male reporter at a hospital said he heard from a person that a firefighter was badly burned but could not confirm it.

The crash site is less than 3 miles from Northeast Philadelphia Airport, which primarily serves business jets and charter flights.

The number of injured has been revised to 24 people. Keep in mind some of the injured were in surrounding buildings and may have not known that they have been hit by debris at the time of the crash.
That’s interesting because Sunday WPVI reported on their 6 pm newscast the cockpit voice recorder had been found by the authorities, KYW TV’s 6:30 pm newscast ran an earlier report that said they were still looking for it.
Located and it being retrieved are two very different items.
