Planet 96.7 and Acronym Follies

H/T to an old friend and colleague for bringing this to my attention:

Elvis Duran is no longer heard on Planet. Instead, wunderkind Slater is now hosting the morning show, which is apparently music-focused...and is known as Planet Morning Show. Of course, the acronym for that is PMS. Is that being downplayed? No, of course not, because that entire organization appears to be run by fools. It's displayed in big prominent letters among the rotating billboards on their homepage. Seriously, is this a radio station run by The Onion?
 
About 10 years ago I was taking a cross-country trip and heard a station whose morning show was the Phil & Mark show. They referred to it as PMS in the morning or the PMS morning show. So it's been done.

Don't remember what or where the station was.
