Planet Mikey - got to give credit to Jason

We have to thank Jason Wolfe for saving us from Ted Sarandis. Planet Mikey sounded good tonight; he's settled right into the show.

Mikey wants to be play-by-play for The Red Sox. Time to put Joe Castiglione out to pasture and give
Mikey his wish for Christmas.

Castiglione isn't going anywhere. He's the star of the show. I don't know how or why, but that's what he's become. Jerry Trupiano always had to play second fiddle, and I thought he had a better voice.

Admittedly, Castiglione seems to have an almost Rain Man-ish knowledge of baseball. But that can't be enough.

He must know where the bodies are buried at 'EEI/Entercom. Or he might have photos of some higher ups in compromising positions.

Absolutely, he finally smartened up and gave Mikey a full time gig, even though the kick off stunt was stupid LOL

I do feel bad for Mike in a sense, he-at first-landed the sweetest gig, getting to work at the Red Sox flagship station at night and having the night off when the guys are playing and he could catch the game. Now with them being on 'RKO, he'll be doing his show and catching only glimpses of night games.

Mikey is ok...But I like to see Jamaine and Everett get a full time slot .

I can't stand Mikey's show... WWZN's late night show is superior and I'm grateful to have that choice

also... Mikey on the Red Sox broadcast? He'll make Tony Kornheiser from Monday Night Football seem bearable by comparison.

Jermaine and Everett were better than some offering on that station but they could polish their act a bit to make it more listenable.

Mikey Adams is a huge improvement over Mr. Sarandis - it was a radio show which lectured its listeners on how to live their lives. Not particularly entertaining. Mike Adams is amusing, even if you're not into sports.

You can thank Glen Ordway for Mikey. That dude pulls a lot of weight in that building. Jason is more of a puppet. Sorry, but anybody who works at EEI knows what I'm talking about

Not being in the building one does get the vibe that the "Big Show" is rather pushy. Wasn't there some kind of little scandal with Glenn Ordway a decade or so ago?

Is Jason Wolfe the guy who keeps the sales staff in line or what? He can't be that much of a puppet if he's got two stations. or are you saying that Julie rules RKO and Glen Glenn controls EEI?

Didn't I hear that Ordway was PD and he fired one of Eddy from Lynnfield's Phantom boys?
