Planning for April Fools

Didn't this already happen a few years back?
I'm not sure if that was the case for those two particular game shows, but I do know GSN DID shuffle the hosts around for all or most of their gameshows one April fools day.
It was back in the early 00's when Friend or Foe was a regular game show on that TV station.

This did happen in the late 90s. '97 or '98. I believe that Vanna White was replaced by Mrs. Trebek (apologies for not remembering her name)

Don't know if Pat and Alex ever traded shows. I do recall that Pat and Vanna switched places for part of one episode (he'd been losing his voice, and by the third round his voice was just about shot, so at that point she hosted the rest of the show and he turned over the letters.)

According to Wikipedia's pages for Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek, it happened in 1997. Alex hosted Wheel with Mrs. Sajak playing Vanna's role. Meanwhile, Pat and Vanna were two of the contestants. Over on Jeopardy, Pat took over as host for the day, but I don't think Alex was a contestant.

In a related development, "The View" had sent one of their hosts (Hasselbeck, I believe) to one of ESPN's shows while the Worldwide Leader sent one of their own to co-host "The View" for a day.
