Play 98.7 Flips To Adult CHR

MsMusicRadio.... Listen again.... it's "Today's Best Hits", not music. That means they're not a "mix" of "yesterday and today". They are a current "hit" radio station. Mix 100.7 is not.

I think you guys are being too critical of the signal. Wild worked for many years on that signal and 92.5 and 98.7 are not even close to the signal issues that 97X faces. Even 102.5, which is technically on paper the most powerful signal in the state, has issues around parts of Tampa Bay. It's all about working with what you've got and selling the hot zips (yes, I just used a radio sales term). Will Play 98 be a major force and rise to #1. Absolutely not. But given the right direction, they can cut that target demographic pie a bit more and generate additional revenue for the CBS group.... and that folks is what it's all about in 2010. Sorry my fellow listeners but that's just simply the honest truth.

Well, well, well, 98.7 drops smooth jazz to go into another direction. Worst. Kept. Secret. In Tampa. Radio.

By the way, I called this one, as soon as WSJT switched frequencies with Wild. I can't find the post, but trust me on this one...

Doesn't matter - you were still 6 months too late.

The domain was registered by CBS 6 months prior to the WILD/WSJT frequency switch in March of 2009.

In fact, FLZ's ratings peak at around a 10 share were back when it had two Hot A/Cs to "compete" with.

And they immediately lost 30% of their audience when WILD went on the air, which they have never gotten back - the same thing that CBS is hoping for here on the same frequency. I wish them luck, but after listening for 20 minutes, I did not even set a preset for them on my radio.

they should pick up Elvis Duran and go directly after MJ. Given the right situation, Elvis could beat MJ. that's their chance to go after FLZ. MTX was never a fit for Elvis and never gave him a shot.

Elvis Duran affiliates are only on Clear Channel stations.
