Play by play on WOGL and KYW?

Does anyone think that KYW-AM and WOGL might be used as back ups for play by play sports programming, now that CBS radio has so many sports teams under their umbrella?

WOGL already has. So, clearly, that can be the case. KYW, no. Not going to happen.

KYW had the Phillies one year and WOGL has carried the World Series. Not a good fit on 1060, as the "Traffic and Transit on the 2's" gets messed up and that ticks off a lot of people. It was also tried in D.C. on WTOP (carried the O's) and the listeners were not happy.

Sports at night on 98.1 might be allowable with the listeners, but I would not mess up the daytime or weekends. That would really irritate the core audience.

When did 98.1 carry the World Series? Only use 98.1 when a third station is needed. And nights and weekends only.
