Re: Playboy on 198 - and Sirius customer service
I'll probably not spend a lot of time listening to Playboy Radio (although I will check it out when I have a chance) but I decided to "opt-in" as a matter of principle. After all, it's available at no extra charge and (as I said in an email to Sirius) I'm not a prude, nor do I have kids with "virgin ears" to protect. And I was mildly curious as to what would be offered on the channel.
I had customer service problems with Sirius, however.
It took me half a dozen attempts (including an email, a failed attempt to opt in at the website and four calls to Sirius customer service) before Sirius added the channel to my radio subscription. In arguably the worst of the four calls, one representative apparently couldn't figure out how to add Playboy to my radio, so he seemingly hung up on me!
That's too bad. In previous calls to Sirius customer service (mainly in 2004), Sirius had taken care of my issues with little or no problem whatsoever. Was my brief experience here just an anomaly or is Sirius's customer service going downhill?
