I am trying to find out the story tellers name who does alot of holiday stories. I don't remember how they all go. There is one that sticks out in my mind about him and his wife and kids going to a friends house for new years eve. He ate potpourri and was supposed to put alcohol in the adults crystal bowl but he put it in the kids bowl because he didn't know the difference between glass and crystal. He then got pulled over at a DUI check point and his son was drunk. The cop was messing with the kid about blowing in the breathalyzer and the kid blew a .07 or something. Then the cop asked the kid to get out of the car and the kid said "come and get me copper". It has been forever since I heard this sorry im flaky on the details. I think I hear the same story teller on NPR sometimes but I cant be for sure
 
There was 'It Feels like Christmas' by this grandfatherly Gipp Forester, Dale Baglo handled it outta Canada. It could be him. Was a series of (a bazillion) Christmas vignettes, Thegiftofchristmas.com
