Personally, I'm intrigued by the situation and, as a practising attorney, I can easily see that just such a travesty of justice actually can happen anywhere if this case is allowed to set a precedent. We all really do need to look into this matter to keep this practise from becoming acceptable lest we all find that we owe debts entered into by others. Imagine the windfall to the creditors should this set a precedent and just anyone claiming "they owe me" can walk into the nearest Clear-Channel cluster and take all that they "feel" they are owed without any due process of law!
