Please Select A Prefix?

Attempted to post a thread in Georgia, twice and this is what I've gotten both times.

Oops! We ran into some problems.
Please select a prefix.

I thought the first time, it was because I forgot to select a region, so I corrected that by going to North Georgia and still got it. Even with clicking on my saved draft, said error message still came up. What's going on here? Any positive info is greatly appreciated. I enjoy the site and contributing where I can.

Thanks Amos, but I'm sorry, I can't see the PNG. I'm totally blind and using the NVDA screen reader on a Windows 10 PC with Firefox, for the record.

No worries, didn't expect you to. Update: just tried again, with the same results, even after refreshing the page and changing the title LOL.

I sent u a pm
Haven't seen it, but did see the reply to our Conversation. I'll look again. I saw the dropdown of which you spoke, but it was only to view threads, or so it looks like to me. I tried it anyway, with the same results. I also tried logging out and back in and going to the North Georgia link via a thread therein, but it didn't say North Georgia, just Georgia and the results were the same.

Before I respond to you, let me tell you that I am also totally blind. I'm using JAWS (latest version) with Firefox's most recent ESR.

Now with that "Select a prefix" thing. Some of the states (including my home state of Arizona) have multiple choices for inside of the state. They are not Phoenix which comes under its own heading. They are, instead, under "Select a prefix" which is a list option that the screenreaders (JAWS didn't and now I know NVDA doesn't) recognize, but you have to use them to select, say, Tucson, if you wish to place an item inside Arizona outside of the Phoenix market.

@lanceventa, this site's owner, has written elsewhere that he is *not making major changes to this site as he is working on a replacement site that is supposed to be debuting soon. (I don't know how accessible the new site will be but I have placed information on the WC3 website on one of the past threads.)

Anyway, if you wish to start a thread on one of these states that has a prefix, my advice would be to write your thread, place a message in parentheses in a paragraph at the bottom of the thread, asking any of the moderators to please move the thread to its proper state and city, and then sending the thread to the format you're discussing. For example, if it's a gospel station in Georgia, send your message to the gospel thread with a request that it be placed say, in Macon, Georgia.

I know this is the long way around but right now, it's the only option we have.

Thanks, @ted chittenden. I so appreciate the info and will check out your advice. I can't remember if I mentioned this up here or somewhere else LOL, but I actually did see the prefixes once, but not as a way to post a thread, only read them. It looks like, to me anyway, that when I click on let's say, the North Georgia link in a thread, that just Georgia comes up, not North Georgia. I just figure(d) the system is/was being wonky. :D)
