...Today around 2:30 on Hot, i just heard the PD announce something i thought would never hear right now, especially after their ratings recently increased a little: HOT MIGHT BE FLIPPING MONDAY MORNING DUE TO THE BAD ECONOMY!!! Please tell me this is a joke!!! :'( :mad:
 
I don't get it. This isn't making any sense to me. What the hell?? Why?? When i heard that, i almost passed out while driving on 45!! Money problems???? CBS is launching CHR's in NY, LA, rumor is Detroit soon, but they dont have any money to run Hot anymore??? Someone help me with this...
 
Ok i heard the message again. The PD did say it IS coming to an end!!! Mr. Tiller, do u still think that it is a MIGHT?? I hope its a MIGHT NOT on this whole thing.

Oh sorry about that. I shouldve been clearer about that, but i now just heard on the radio that they ARE going to do something on Monday. Im just trying to focus on them NOT flipping because that is too good of a station to go.

I dunno. this does sound kinda serious. i dunno any station that did a stunt like that before.

I guess you missed my point with the "save the buzz" comment. KTBZ did more or less the exact same thing when CC bought them and moved them to 94.5 from 107.5...

The only thing i remember from the "save the buzz" event was that everybody made online forums, protested, made public rallies, etc. Now that you just made me get the whole picture, im starting to think a few things (sorry if this sounds stupid). Is Hot swapping frequencies with either Mix? or Mega?
 
Its very possible that a frequency swap is in the plan. Or it is simply a conversation starter. It's got everybody talking here and most likely elsewhere. Additionally, it could be a new jock coming to Hot. Whatever it is, we will all have to wait and hear.
