Maurice ... More important than any or all of our opinions is the location.

Remember that a part 15 station has a limited coverage area. That should determine your format.

For example, even if 99% of your votes are for dance music... if your transmitter is in Sunrise Lakes, you'd better consider bog band!

Lots of 'em.

But....

What I meant is that a Part 15 station covers a small area.

You'd need a number of ststions to cover all the areas you cited.

You might want to look at the http://www.radio-info.com/mods/posts?Board=community board.

Also, go to http://www.univox.com/radio/2005june.html and seach for Part 15.

You know im gonna go with Dance Maurice. I mean, with party 93.1 gone, this station is going to Blow up in Miami. You just have to program it for Miami, maybe play a little Latin House, and other Latino flavored dance music. We both know that your cabable of making the sound quality and coverage pretty good. You just have to promote it. Spread the word around.

Re: Part 15 Poll

954, I get 5 miles on part15 using good part15.219 TXs one at 40ft gets me that coverage, I read on the station called simcha but a few blocks? he must be using a cheap unit. B/C the rangemaster well tuned will get 5miles "and that's one"

Re: Part 15 Poll

In that area, there will be more interest in Dance. Though the people may never have handled the AM band on their radios.
