Plezzz no more LENO or CONAN - THE ANSWER - NEW HOST Elisabeth Hasselbec

Like many of you, I'm tired of hearing about the squabble regarding Leno & O'Brien. They're like two little baby boys crying with their Egos all hurt. Whiney babies!

NBC should shut the door on both of them and then hire Elisabeth Hasselbeck along Rebecca Saint James to host a late night show. These are people that actually have something to say and are entertaining.

Why is it that if you choose to watch Late Night Programs, they're always hosted by males? Elisabeth Hasselbeck has a lot to say and her family values are more reflective of most in America.

And everytime I have seen Elizabeth Hasselback on TV, SHE COMES OFF AS BEING DUMBER THAN A BOX OF ROCKS!! She was on ESPN's NFL Live the other night with her brother-in-law Matt Hasselback of the Seattle Seahawks. They were talking about his brother and her husband Tim Hasselback. When she was asked a question about her husband's playing career or past, she acted like she didn't know what they were talking about, yet her brother-in-law was able to answer every question without hesitation. Even on the View, she seems DUMBFOUNDED more times than not about several subjects.

That's insulting to the point of being offensive...to boxes of rocks everywhere. ;D

Fingernails on a chalkboard + wearing wet socks + spending the day with Rip Taylor + shaving Ed Asner's back + living in Detroit + driving a Yugo = Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

'nuff said.

Yes, it was part of the ABC/Disney "Job Swap". Tim Hasselbeck will be co-hosting "The View" on Elisabeth's behalf one week from today.

If you are going to tell jokes than you should at least make them funny.

I am a very liberal person but I it's hard for me to watch the View because of Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

One thing I noticed is how often Hasselbeck is RIGHT. She makes good points, but has absolutely NO WAY to back up her points. She does not have the mental capacity to back up her statements. And she's right. Sometimes I want to say, Geez can't they get someone who can make a statement and back it up?

Now that CBS and ABC have female anchor leads in their network news, I see nothing wrong with a talk show host at night. The trouble is getting the right one. Like Joan Rivers was a good substitute host. The problem was a little Joan went a long way. While she was funny now and then, night after night she was hard to take.

So yeah let's get a female host, but I don't know who that'd be

May a bus fall on your house for this horrible suggestion. ::)

Hey, maybe she should be on ESPN more often! :D

Say what you will about Elizabeth Hasselbeck, but one thing is true: she's HOT.

I would, if ever given the chance, and so would most of you! :D

I just get why anyone would Leno, O'Brien Letterman etc.. over my female choices. Other great candidates for Late Night would be Carrie Prejean (former Miss California), Norah Joans (singer, Chasing Pirates) and of course as I mentioned Elisabeth Hasseback and/or Rebecca Saint Jones.

The current line-up of male late night hosts just plain stinks. Letterman and his disgraceful adulterous behavior, O'Brien & Leno (and their baby antics) and the rest of the motley night hosts.

I don't want a Joan Rivers, Ellen "immoral" DeGeneres or anyone like that... What I would like to see is a lady with class host Late Night and I believe that such a program would trump all the rest.

Yeah, we don't want anyone in stable, loving, committed relationships like Ellen. Heaven forbid...as if that has something to do with talent.

And as for Elizabeth...nope, not if she were the last person on Earth. 8)

Get off the moral agenda.... you've got to find people that are entertaining for that time slot, not brainwash the viewer like Pat Robertson & The 700 Club does. Jeez. There are plenty of other choices out there on cable that can fill that niche.

People want to laugh after watching the depressing local news.... not be put to sleep! ::)
If you want a new female host for late night, these women would be excellent and have a great sense of humor... as well as pull in male viewers: :D

Sandra Bullock
Drew Barrymore
Tina Fey
Amy Poehler
Debra Messing
Julia Louis-Dreyfus
Christina Applegate

Wow.... I sure hope that you don't plan on holding your breath while you wait. By the way.... I've never heard anyone call Ellen DeGeneres immoral before. I would love to hear how you come to that wacky conclusion.

I'd watch a Tonight Show with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hosting. That's a great idea.

Because she, made in God's image don't you know, happens to be in a stable, loving relationship with someone who shares the same plumbing? That destroys the sanctity of marriage....as if straight folks haven't done that on their own (....cough....Newt Gingrich....Mark Sanford....John McCain...Rudy Giuliani...Jack Ryan...Rush Limbaugh...Henry Hyde...)

Jerry Falwell famously called her "Ellen Degenerate." That's close enough. And now that he's gone, Pat Robertson has amped up the cra-za-zee talk to fill the void.

And by the way, Pat Robertson is the answer to the question: "Who would be Elizabeth Hasselbeck's first guest?"

One thing that the new generation of actors is that they have not been trained like in the old days to think on their feet and do interviews. You would need a talk show host, who doesn't need to work from a script.

Try thinking back to Drew Carey's improvision show with comics. Were there any good females able to improvise on that show?

People forget that there already IS a woman currently hosting a late-night talk show: Chelsea Handler, on E! Once the NBC/Comcast merger is completed, I would expect Chelsea to move her show from E! (partly-owned by Comcast) to NBC. (By the way, did you know she is dating the guy who runs Comcast?)
