So will they go outside to fill this? The ad on allaccess says the position could include APD duties. I'm suprised they didn't have someone in the position right away.

The fine print; must be willing to empty waste baskets of execs and work for minimum wage and tips.

Gig pays 200-large, plus/minus. Five day workweek. Extra $$ for appearances/remotes.

Job not filled yet.

Could WLTW-106.7 simply promote J.J. Kennedy to afternoons and fill her old nighttime slot with ther syndicated Delilah show??

I don't know how much money Kennedy makes on her current shift, but whatever it is, CC would save it by picking-up Delilah, even though Kennedy would receive a healthy pay raise for moving to afternoons.

Even if WLTW doesn't pick-up Delilah, could J.J. Kennedy be promoted to afternoons anyway and the new hire go to evenings??

I think Dan Taylor is great, but Mike is also very good. And I believe that Mike has already done some fill-in work at Lite-FM.

That seems mighty pricey for WLTW.

Can anyone verify that?

Also, why did the last PM Drive talent get displaced?.

Much of the time these "help wanted ads" are placed only to keep the EEOC quiet. They already know whom they want to hire. Maybe it's one of the names people have suggested.

But sometimes they may actually listen to some of the packages; even interview a "walk-in" candidate or two. Candidate then can post specifics about the job on a radio board. Or the candidate tells somebody (who tells somebody ... ) who posts specifics on a radio board.

PM Drive on the number one station in the number one market. $200K +/- does not seem outrageous. If they pick one of the insiders, he/she may get something like that. If they pick an outsider, it would likely be less plus vague promises of more later ... or a chance to pick up extra bucks doing production or voice tracking or changing light bulbs.

PM drive at Lite FM/Speculation

And sometimes posters just wish to appear to be in the know.
$200K for PM drive at 'LTW sounds like it might be about $75K too much.
Someone in the shift for years (and years) may have been able to reach that pay grade. I doubt that figure was quoted to someone inquiring about the job.

C'mon...it's not like WLTW needs to pay the most dynamic jock out there.

The station/format is pretty plain vailla.....and not all that dependent on the jock for sucess.
