It's an analog TV, so it won't work without a converter, unless there are still NTSC stations outside the US on Channels 2 or 3 that are viewable via F2 skip (not happening with the lack of sunspots these days).

If there are any NTSC analog stations on VHF at all anymore, they would be in Central or South American, or the Caribbean, depending on each country's plans to change to digital. To receive them requires F2-layer skip. Solar Cycle 25 is just now beginning, so you're looking at the years 2024-27 for F2 skip to reach VHF frequencies.

F2 is not the same as the more common E-skip, which can get you cross-country reception in the summer (check the FM broadcast and 6 meter ham bands. You're far more likely to hear things there). But again, there are no NTSC stations remaining on VHF in the US, Canada, or Mexico that I'm aware of. A converter would still be required, and even then, the signals would be so erratic that they probably wouldn't be decoded even if they were detected.

There are still some low power analog stations in the US, like WPGF-LP 6 in Memnphs, 'which is used as a FrankenFM to simulcast WHBQ 560.
