POCONO 96.7

Just wondering if anyone has heard what WABT, Pocono 96.7 did in the latest Arbitron ratings for Monroe County? Just curious since the company has in place a translator on 97.3 for better coverage in the downtown areas. Any ideas?

Their 97.3 frequency has a construction permit to boost their signal from 9 to 250 watts. WRNJ's repeater on 92.7 is only 140 watts but I have been able to pick it up in the Pocono region. I'm wondering how far the 97.3 signal will go when they boost their power, hey at that power they're almost halfway there to crappy SBG!

I hear that WSBG is promoting that they are #1 in Monroe County. They must be doing something right huh?

Terrific first impression (sarcasm) on driving through the area when 96.7 was gleefully being spanked into life.

'Hotel California'.

Have always enjoyed the youthful WSBG and their vamping pop music. Me being 60+ , it was a good :20 minute listen or so. The thing is, the only times I heard them here (between Hazleton and Pottsville) were from their 960 signal, back in those simulcast days. I kept seeing them creeping into ratings books, steadily, like S/WB and Allentown, despite what has to be format competition in those markets from more local signals.
