Podcamp Seattle this Saturday

Now that more and more stations are doing Podcasting, I thought this upcoming event at UW this weekend (it's free) might be of interest to this board. I'm planning on attending. One of the sponsors is the Seattle Advertising Federation.

Here's the link and a portion of the information below. http://podcamp.pbwiki.com/PodcampSeattle

If you go, let me know what you think and if it was, in fact, relevant to this board. Radio has to interact with these other media in my view so it is good to know as much as possible about the "new" media.

Sandusky did a nice seminar on new media last week as well featured Hip Cricket, and some others. If anyone is interested, I can provide more details about that.

Enjoy your day!

From http://podcamp.pbwiki.com/PodcampSeattle :

"...you might see someone videoblogging the talk, someone else live-blogging about the videoblogger, a Flickr photographer snapping photos, and other folks discussing the whole experience on a Twitter backchannel...."

This quote alone made my day. It was as surreal as anything Beck could write in any of his songs....

Oh yeah....Fremont Solstice. I just don't wanna see the GUYS peddling naked out there....not enough chicks bicycling out there IMHO....
