Now that everyone has mobile device with broadband capability we see the trend moving towards video or slide show with voice over. I tried this format a few times, it's a lot of work but will appeal to more younger listeners. Podcasting for download is still good though, for situations and places where broadband is not available for listening later.

No this isn't an attack on our president, I always dislike the party in power. Not gonna discuss politics here. Just providing an example of a newer format, we have all seen like this before. This is not exactly the same program I would make but time and effort put into it is noted and deserves some promotion.
The easiest way to make this work is to work as a group, this way you can find the news and video clips for the program and still have time to cover the topic thoroughly. Also notice this is a short length program. The younger listeners have a very short attention span. Also it can very easily be made into a podcast by converting into MP3 for download. The advantage of using sites like Youtube, you need not worry about having to pay for bandwidth if you get too many downloads.
We need a new section here for this format, maybe podcasting is a good section to include this in.
