Podcasting 'Birthright' for Radio

I'm sure the same debate took place when radio companies began starting TV stations in the 30s and 40s, or even when newspapers expanded into broadcasting. There are a lot of heritage radio stations that chose not to expand to TV. The had the opportunity to get in when costs were low, but chose to focus on radio only. That's a choice they made. Same with streaming, creating podcasts, or any other expansion beyond the traditional broadcast signal.
