Anyone know of any good ones that are Atlanta based? I know of wtfbarbecue and The Bottom Line, but what are other good ones if any?

I'm doing a story on podcasts and have checked out several local ones. Most are pretty amateurish and not very good, of course.

Andisheh Nouraee does one call M'ylanta in which he and a friend he calls Phil reads off Craig's List and mocks the "Sunday Paper" relationships column by Lisa Baron, Jimmy Baron's wife.

Also, Skepticality by a man named Derek in Roswell is pretty good if you're skeptical of UFOs and crop circles and such. He used to do radio so he sounds good.

As Rodney stated below, my podcast is still pretty amateurish
and not very good, but it is getting better and has come light
years in just the few months I have been doing it.

Feel free to check it out - it is called Southern Sports Week,
and I just recorded a "fresh" one yesterday. You can find the
'cast at the show website - www.kitbaty.com/ssw. I welcome your
comments as well.

thanks,
Kit

I don't think the amateaur style is a bad thing. It has a sense of honesty and trueness. Maybe I'm not making too much sense, but I don't mind it coming off amateurish, as long as its an interesting show with good personalities I'm good to go.

I believe The Infidel Guy is based in Atlanta. Wait... not sure if these are podcasts or not. They ARE internet radio at least (downloadable). His site is an atheist site with some good, non-rude debating.

I think the best part of Podcasting is the 'non-professional' feel they have...lo-tech. It's cool.<P ID="signature">______________
