??? Can someone explain the point-to-point communication to me? I'm having a hard time understanding. Is it related to equipment relay or is it more of what you can say or not say on the air? ???

Broadcast; standing on top of a mountain or tall building and screaming in all directions so the most people can hear you or blowing smoke signals so everyone can read them....
Point to Point; on top of the mountain or building with a narrow beamed lazer or similar....so only ONE person you want to communicate with can "see" your signal...and noone else does..(like microwave, etc)
Ok. Thanks. The fuzz is clearing some, but when someone says "Happy Birthday, Sam or .....", is that not the same as "honey, cellphone" example? I hear stations do this quite frequently.
One word for it. Unenforceable (even if they cared to, which they don't.) Just bring more $$$ for auction fees, keep your public file and eas logs/equipment in order, and don't grossly screw up technically. Oh yeah.. don't cuss. I forgot that one. Otherwise the FCC is pretty much asleep at the switch these days.
