Leland Ballou, a part-time radio personality over WKLK in Cloquet, MN, died Saturday, November 29, at age 83. Ballou worked in a number of occupations in his life, including accountant, dairy farmer, plumber, and school bus driver; but for the past 10 years hosted WKLK's "International Polka Party" on Sunday afternoons; following the death of the show's previous MC, Len Voikofski (who had hosted the show for 52 years!) He is survived by Cornelia, his wife of 59 years, five children, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
