Why not Donna Reed? All the pairs were two TV characters played by the same actress (sometimes at different stages in life; sometimes very different characters).

Number five is Jane Leeves. She played physical therapist Daphne Moon (who ended up marrying Niles) on Frasier; and a virgin on Seinfeld, most notably in the "master of my domain" contest episode.

I always thought Laura Petrie was sluttier than Mary Richards.
Audra Barckley had a tom-boy quality I liked.
Sally McMillian had a sexy hippie quality but how dense was she that she couldn't figure out what Rock was really interested in?
All of Shelley Fabres' characters have been major pains in the ass. Same for Julia Louis Dreyfuss.
But Princess Elinor Donahue was hot under proper exterior, feisty and nice. Andy was nuts to go for Helen Crump over her. And then there was Thelma Lou; not that cute but an erotic 50kw blow torch.
