Why are YOU working in Radio? What is YOUR ultimate goal? How are YOU going to acheive that goal? What advice would you give someone who is looking to break into the biz. What makes you different from the other radio station that is playing the same music?

Nothing to it. Just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts. We all take granted for what we do at times. Just something to ponder on, and learn from eachothers thoughts. Happy posting!

To retire knowing that people have enjoyed the work that I've done.

In certain respects, I feel like I already have.

Keep at it - persistence ultimately pays off.

Because I love talking/debating/joking around with people. I really enjoy discussions...about anything...with anybody. Besides, it beats real work.

To own and operate my own station(s).

*Somehow I have to find people who are willing to take that chance with me. I have the drive, determination, knowledge...just don't have the money!

>What advice would you give someone who is looking to break into the biz.

*First, do whatever it takes to get started. Maybe it's just running the board or helping set up for remotes...whatever...and then bug the hell out of whoever you have to to get experience. Keep pushing forward. Never, ever, ever get complacent! There is always someone else working hard when you're taking a break. Never lose the hunger.

>What makes you different from the other radio station that is

*The content between the music and the personalities. There are a zillion stations playing your music, but only your station has you.
Know your audience.
Take care of your audience.

What is YOUR ultimate goal? I would love to own a station someday.I also would like to grow my mobile business, be the go to guy for fun, entertaining events, radio and mobile dj work.

> How are YOU going to achieve that goal? Work my butt off and keep my ear to the ground for a chance to grow and prosper.
