Ponzi Schemer Bernie Madoff dies in prison at 82

That's one less crook in the world. Good riddance!
 
I got the impression he was happier in prison that on the outside. I may be remembering Richard Dreyfuss playing him in a TV series. He was great, by the way, and Madoff seemed quite likable.

Of course, Madoff seemed quite likeable - How else would he get people to entrust him enough to part with their $$$ and hand it over to him? Have you ever heard of a scam artist or con man who wasn't likeable? They all appear as kind and trustworthy, the problem is that behind that facade they have no conscience and it's all a ruse to enrich themselves ultimately.
