pool coverage of Presidential address?

The President will address the nation tonight from Fort Bragg NC, which is just up the road from my present location.

When the Chief Executive does a speech from a military base, who is responsible for the outgoing video and audio feeds? Is it organized as pool coverage with the local affiliates all pitching in? Or does a presidential traveling media crew take care of such matters? Does each network have its own crew on site?

I never covered a president on a military base, but I did cover Vice President Quayle at Fort Dix during the 1991 Gulf War. There wasn't any live coverage IIRC. Each station sent a crew to cover the event, but audio was supplied through a mult box (or press box). I don't know if the VP's people or the base supplied the equipment. <P ID="signature">______________
