I know alot of you peeps dont care for john phillips well i like his show:):):)But they should have kept him at night and just should not have changed a thing. As much as i like doug in the morning far better than peter tilden i would have been fine with keeping tilden in the am and douglas overnights!!!

I just dont think geraldo is that good at talk radio.Reguardless of his positions.Just doesnt flow that well.

To be honest heidi harris on krla is better in the mornings then tilly was in the mornings.

Even though they only compete for an hour i bet tim conway jr does far better in the numbers then tilly.

I dont think peter has a very good show at night.He refuses to stay on 1 topic for anymore then 5 minutes!!! Mr kabc was light years better and so was john phillips.

I wonder if they will totally do away with his 9am to 10am airshift?

What do you all think???
 
Johnny boy was horrible in the evening. He used to have his soul mate Nathan Baker and they used to endlessly discuss celebrity nail grooming habits and other useless stuff with someone called the princess. I only used to put up with it since I was waiting for Doug's Red Eye show to come on. But having him back in the evenings would be yet another mistake in the endless stream of mistakes that station made and continues to make. Management there doesn't have a clue as to what would work in LA. Having those two rednecks in the overnight slot really helped right?
 
Doug is a very talented host. I would like to hear him back overnights. But cmon peter tilden???He doesnt belong in talk radio.He said and i quote when talking about lindsey lohan burps and farts very tacky i dont want to hear him talk like that.

After he said that i didnt listen to him the rest of the night. And what happenend to there live broadcasts from fresh restuarant?

John is far better then peter tilden!!!But over all i agree with you kabc is hopeless and has no idea of how to improve its standing in the ratings. At one time kabc and ktlk had similar overall numbers but kabc had better cume.

I say blow up both stations but i will be kind keep ktlk for there sports but for the love of god blow up kabc once and for all!!!
 
Like the OP, I enjoy Phillips. I find him smart and entertaining. And since I also enjoy Tilden, I guess that puts me in a real minority if the opinions on this board are any indication of the general radio audience. :D
