Not a hit in the group.

The Say Yeah record annoys the hell out of me. Let's take a classic dance song and butcher it by putting some no-name rapper on it! Yay! /sarcasm

If you're looking for hits...

1. Jesse McCartney - Leavin
2. Gavin DeGraw - In Love With a Girl
3. Metro Station - Shake It
4. Taylor Swift - Our Song
5. Usher - Love in this Club
6. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love

"Our Song"? Highly unlikely. Her voice is just way too Southern sounding on that one. Even if she uses different vocals, it won't work.

Soulja Boy is a joke. He always seems to be saying something about "my new dance". Basically, he's like a less talented, even cheesier MC Hammer. Doesn't anyone else think this guy is ridiculous? Man, I miss Tupac, Slick Rick, Ice Cube (before the acting career), etc.

Seether was huge on Active and Alternative. While that doesn't always make for crossover potential, I think it could work. Beats the heck out of the nauseating "Broken".

We The Kings are terrible. There's about a million bands that they sound identical to.

Ashlee Simpson? We're still talking about this talentless lip-syncing hack? FLUSH IT!!!!!

No offense to any posters, but this entire thread should be called flop flop flop flop because the only hits posted here are "In Love With A Girl", "Love In This Club" and "Bleeding Love".

If you think Jesse Mac is a flop, you must not have heard it. Or you thought most Justin songs would flop.

Taylor - not as big as her first... but still big for the south and midwest.

Metro Station will be a flash in the pan, but it'll be a big phone record.

You do realize that very few people care what you're doing in Podunk (I mean, Marshall, sorry), Minnesota, right?

And this added to the conversation...how?

Jimmy Eat World- Always Be----this song could be their re-entry to the pop charts... but I think they're happy enough on the Alt charts.

You are not the first one

If I want to hear good music I'll pop on my i-Pod, if I want to hear the hits I'll put on Hot 104.7 out of Sioux Falls, if I want to hear a clusterfuck I'll put on 99.7 out of Marshall.

How it gets ratings or revenue is beyond me.

and I don't care what you're doing at WPIA either.

That MIGHT be funny..........

...........if I worked for WPIA.

K92, Roanoke, VA is spinning "Our Song" by Taylor Swift and I also heard it on an XM station also...not sure which one cause I was flipping the channels between a few of them on TV.

The XM station also played Seether "Fake It"

Leona Lewis, Gnarles Barkley. Bring 'em on!!
Though, who knows when (if ever) they will get played on my local CHR's, WKSS and WKCI.

I doubt my "CHR" (KIIS) will play either Leona or Gnarls Barkley either. I think both have a better chance of getting spun at KBIG (MyFM 1043). Leona's going to be HUGE here in the States for sure, and KIIS will look even more silly for not playing her while playing the latest fluff by Mariah and Britney.

WILI/Hit Music i98.3 (98.3 and 97.5) plays Leona Lewis.... gotten a lot of good feedback on the record
:)

Or you can listen online at hitmusici983.com

KIIS will add Leona for sure. Its already been playing at XMs Rhythmic station (THE HEAT) for a good month or so. The Leona track is a good song thats both Adult Friendly and Rhythmic Friendly at the same time. I think KISS LA, WSNX GRAND RAPIDS, and Channel 955 Detroit will all play this song eventually. 8) BTW thanks for letting us know about I98.3,,, I never heard this station before, im gonna check it out right now....

As predicted, KIIS-FM added Leona Lewis.

Yes, they certainly did... and in fact upped her into power as of yesterday! This is going to go to #1 on Hot AC as well I think...
