Porche Fox

No what happened to her? Is she alright? I know she was fired several months ago based on all the numerous posts on here but I have not heard more since then? Stop teasing us and tell us the big news. Inquiring minds want to know?

Ok got the scoop myself. So apparently every time she is unemployed she is loosely connected to a suspicous fire. You are right Rhubarb Stupid People indeed. Next time don't tease though and just tell us what happened.

I heard a rumor that The Bull has hired Rhubarb Jones and Porsche Foxx for its new morning show, Rhubarb and Porsche in the Morning.

Some format will hire her to Light-up their ratings.

In style, she held a press conference denying everything. The fire marshall's office showed up to question her.

Also, she lost her old home in 2005 after a fire. A candle was cited as the cause then.

Just because one former employee turns out to be a bad apple, that does not make the other employees at V-103 bad.

You are absolutely correct on that one, but what is happening (btw, I lived in ATL for almost 5 yrs) in urban radio, and CHR is a CULTURE. It's all about "living the lifestyle." Look at what few job postings look for in its personalities...Well, if the music of the lifestyle popularizes pimps, ho's, gun battles, gettin high, droopy pants, and gold fronts, then the lifestyle must be just that. If the personalities are to live the lifestyle, then they must be just that. Hats off to those who are bucking that trend, but most of them are on the beach. This should not be a surprise at any urban station. Where I am, a local urban DJ was recently arrested for selling CRACK to pay BACK CHILD SUPPORT! Can you say LIFESTYLE?

Then "Amen" to Elle Duncan. Whatever monicker you would want to attach to her, crack whore is not among them.

I hope for her sake she wasn't involved,as for the Bull hiring Rhubarb Jones, where in the heck did you hear that? The kind of music V-103 plays, who wants to hear women being called b's and h's and God knows what else.

For all of you who were so quick to jump on the wagon and start throwing stones at Ms. Fox (who I do not know, have never met, and have never even listened to on the air), let's see how much gumption you have now as we eagerly await your public apology. On tonight's news (02/04) the investigators admitted it was a case of mistaken identity; that apparently there's some other girl out there who ALSO goes by the same name who is involved in this fire.

Sure, easy mistake to make, but my weren't we quick to accuse?

COWARDS! :D As for you 'darksoldier' everyone in Urban radio isn't all that crap you described. Lets not talk about the hush hush crap that goes on with jocks oustide of the Urban format that for some odd reason doesn't make the 6 o'clock news!

Where was Stephanie Calhoun when all this stuff was going on?

Shawty....If you notice I started the post by saying that NOT ALL IN THE FORMAT ARE... A little touchy? What I DID say... which apparently got by you...is that the glamorizations of the lifestyle, and the selling of it through insisting the jocks LIVE that lifestyle to some degree, fosters an environment that could be condusive to some of the things that DO, and are alleged to occur with its jocks. That said, at NO time did I pass judgement on Ms. Fox, nor did I give a pass to any potential or real offenders in other formats...but there again, the thread is entitled PORSCHE FOX, and was posted to speak to her alleged activities...She is (was) an URBAN jock. I spent 6 years in urban radio, and one thing I can say for sure, is that there is a need for the format as a whole to take the high road on some of the garbage it promotes....just as conservative talk needs to take a high road....I know...I know...the low road sells! Finally, the "hush hush" that happens in other formats that doesn't make the 6 o'clock news? Well my friend, lets face a fact or two. THE NEWS MEDIA IS NOT FAIR BALANCED AND ACCURATE. IT IS CONTROLLED BY THE MAJORITY POPULATION, AND THE COUNTRY JOCK WHO GETS A DUI DOESN'T SELL LIKE THE URBAN JOCK WHO HAD A JOINT IN HIS/HER CAR. Is it right? NO...Is it how it is? YES.

Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Has anyone thought of a music format with all torch songs?
