WBIMDJ said:Must be an alternative rock station thing, here in Boston on WFNX, they've been airing ads for "1-800-FREESEX". When I first heard it, thought it was a joke, but it's 100% serious. It even says "it doesn't have to be just men seeking women, it can also be men seeking men and women seeking women." I've heard it as early as 7pm. Hey, gotta pay the bills right?![]()

Jacko said:Are they really "porn" advertisements? I mean, I listened to BRU for a while the other day and heard an ad for some kinky novelty shop--not the Amazing Superstore, but I assume something like it. Let's not forget those "Legs and Eggs" adds for the Foxy Lady that the late Dr. Metal did back in the day.
And by the way, what's with the 8-minute stopsets on WBRU? They run more commercials on a Providence college station than they do on WBZ Boston!
