portable rds walkmans

I have been looking around for this and I was curious if anyone has had any luck with this.I was curious if any of you have seen any poertable rds walkmans around.the only thing I am aware of is the adaptor for ipod video/nano.

If I recall correctly, someone has asked about this before. I believe someone pointed out a Sony model that could be imported from Japan (and I think it was already set for North American tuning as opposed to Japanese). I had a link to it at one point... I'll try and find it if I can.

thanks.i am surprised no one else really makes the things especially with how popular rds is. the ipod ones are cool but they don't have a strong signal at all copared to other digital walkmans on the market

if you have an iPod (nano or 30/60GB with video) you can get the Apple Radio Remote. It's not too good with the weaker stations though, but I took mine and wired it up to my outdoor antenna and WOW what a wonderful tuner. It can pull in a 5kw 90 miles away with a 100kw 6 miles away on the next frequency. but yeah, kinda hard to carry a 25ft pole with an antenna on the top of it around.

I'd like to try that with my indoor antenna how did you do that?btw: how do we give apple suggestions for receptionthanks
