Portland columnist writes about AAR matter

> The Oregonian's David Reinhard has some thoughts on AAR's
> situation:

Another day... more slanted nonsense. For those who want to consider the source, here are some other views from Mr. Reinhard:

"But nothing we've seen so far suggests Rove did anything wrong -- wrong as in illegal, or even unethical."

On the question of London bombings and how this relates somehow to Iraq: "No, Great Britain -- and other governments -- won't get a pass from Islamic terrorists by simply pulling out of Iraq. They'll have to decide whether to excuse or annihilate Thursday-style barbarism. In short, will it be Ward Churchill or Winston Churchill? It's really that simple."

On John Roberts: "Sen. Ted Kennedy may soon roll on to the Senate floor to inform us: In John Roberts' America, 12-year-old-girls would be arrested, handcuffed and taken downtown by cops for eating a single french fry in public.

Yet the "subway snacker" case highlights not only his qualifications for the Supreme Court, but also the kind of restraint judges should show and Bush has promised in his judicial picks."

On the Millennium Bomber Case: "Since 9/11, prosecutors have used the U.S. criminal justice system and its protections to break up terror cells across the country. Shoe-bomber Richard Reid and 20th hijacker Zacarias Moussaoui (not U.S. citizens) have had their days in U.S. courts. Coughenour seems lost in Michael Moore's America. He's not living in George Bush or John Ashcroft's America. The administration has consistently worked to use our justice system when and where it's appropriate."

I guess when you can't quote from slanted news articles, you have to resort to regurgitated propaganda columnists who essentially plagiarize the NY Post. A classic example of the right wing echo chamber... echo... echo... echo....<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by dampier on 08/08/05 04:36 PM.</FONT></P>

What do you do? Stay up all night doing Google searches and searching every newspaper website you can find? Try going to a dictionary site and looking up "obsession."

Everybody knows the story. You are not adding new information.

Or maybe you are on AAR's payroll. You are getting them a lot of attention. Actually more attention than their fans on this board get for them. Barnum was right when he said he didn't care what people said about him as long as they spelled his name right.

I wonder if the payola investigation will focus just on music or look at how certain talk show hosts and commentators get paid to spin things a certain way? Maybe it will also look at how tax money is used for this purpose.

Nah, it just takes a few minutes a day. As to obsession look in the mirror. I don't read most of your posts.

Amost all of them have new info. This one didn't, except that the MSM can't keep this completely under wraps even in a city where AAR does well.

I am going to ask for a raise.
