Portland, ME TV Stations in North Eastern, Mass

I was using dtv.gov/maps and saw that WCSH 6 has a moderate signal in Rockport, Mass. Can anyone confirm this? My other question is are any Portland, Maine stations carried on cable in Massachusetts?

I wouldn't be suprised. I remember getting a decent signal from WCSH (6) and WGME (13) when I lived on the southern NH seacoast. Plus, there's a decent amout of open water between Rockport and the Portland TX sites.

I do not believe any cable systems in Massachusetts carry the Portland stations. It's possible they did at one time, though. And it is possible that you might have been able to get off-air signals from Portland back in the good ol' days of analog, but probably not now.

I'm quite often able to get WMTW-DT, WGME-DT, WCSH-DT, and WPFO-DT at a house along the coast on the south shore (Marshfield) with a Channel Master 4228HD outdoor antenna. They're probably in at least 50% of the time there. I'd expect that most people with decent outdoor antennas on the north shore would have even better results.

I remember awhile back someone posting on here that the cable system in Andover had them at one point, but I'm assuming that was in the 70s or the very early 80s. I don't remember who that person was, though.

WBZ, WCVB, WHDH (then-WNEV), WSBK and WLVI were all once carried by then-Continental Cablevision in Saco and Old Orchard Beach, ME in 1989. They even carried CKSH-TV channel 9 from Sherbrooke, PQ back then. Ahhhh memories!
