Portland Spring ARB's

The 12+ numbers are out minus SAGA because they don't subscribe.
'JBQ is #1,followed by Frank,'BLM,"HOM,'THT,'CYY,PEI,'JJB,'HTP & 'HXR.Anyone have demo breakdowns they can share.It would be interesting to see how HOT 104.7 did in their demo.I always have an ear out for what people are listening to & I hear HOT 104.7 quite often & it isn't just the kids.

25-54 it's WFNK, WBLM, WJBQ, WTHT. Hot 104.7 did not do well anywhere outside of 12-17 and they were still killed by JBQ there. It unfortunate but they only throw a city grade signal over 30% of the new Portland Metro and just won't be able to compete ratings wise

By looking at a the 'numbahs' across the various northern New England markets that were created, it seems like more and more radio groups do not subscribe than those that do for the 'big ratings company'. Hard to take something seriously when the published public report looks more like Swiss cheese with more and more key radio stations missing than present.

A sad state for AM radio.... In the non-swiss-cheese version of the Portland book (covering all of southern Maine), only TWO Maine AM stations showed up in the ratings.... a certain 5,000-watt one, and a certain 1,000-watt one.

@Gadon
I think there is some confusion. All stations are rated and show in the ratings, which are accessible for those who subscribe including stations and agencies, whether those stations subscribe to the ratings or not. It's only in the 12+ ratings released to various non subscribing entities that publish them where those non subscribing stations are omitted. In Portland, Saga does not subscribe. Their ratings for their four FM stations are atrocious. They're probably glad they're not published.

Adbuyer1, no confusion. My point is that most of ownership groups in northern New England are not paying bundles of money to the huge ratings company, than the few groups that do.

Adbuyer1.....

Respectfully, are we looking at the same book? I'm seeing top 5 and top 3 in demo numbers for HTP. And the York and Cumberland county break downs? Ever better.

If you are going to post with an agenda, at least make it known. Your incorrect spin makes me think you have an ulterior motive.

I call it like I see it.
