Poss. CBS/Imus settlement; Imus looking at syndicators

Sources are saying CBS is close to buying out Imus' contract. They're working out a money figure,
and the article says CBS may be waiting until they have Boomer Esiason in place to take over
the am drive at WFAN, first...and it's said Imus has been talking about show syndication with
Clear Channel (via Premiere?), Buckley, and Citadel.

Everyone knew he would come out ahead...his contract said he should be on the edge...and he should get a warning before being kicked of air. (By the way, where is Sharkton and hiJackson on the Vick dog case???)

Actually I'd like to know too. I noticed at the website that Sharpton was talking about "today's Rappers and the Music Corporations hand into the degradation of African-Americans within today's Hip Hop music". So it looks like he is discussing the issues people said he wasn't discussing a the time of the Imus mess. I wonder if this is a change for him or normal. My guess is that no one at this forum knows so callofthewild is pretty safe with his implied double-standard remark.

When you say Syndication, I sure hope that doesn't mean satellite.

I much prefer my talk radio from AM radio.
