Possible Dance or Dance lean format coming to San Diego?

While it's not 100% Dance, it does have some Pop remixes in rotation and so far I've heard Daft Punk- One More Time, David Guetta- Memories and Enur- Calabria. IMO, not a bad station.

While it's not 100% Dance, it does have some Pop remixes in rotation and so far I've heard Daft Punk- One More Time, David Guetta- Memories and Enur- Calabria. IMO, not a bad station.

These are all songs that are played on CHR/Pop or CHR/Rhythmic stations.

I agree with you to a certain degree but I must say that neither David Guetta- Memories or Enur- Calabria made it to KISS FM in Austin or Dallas. And I doubt these were the only two major cities where these two tracks didn't get airplay. Again, Energy is playing Pop remixes that many Chr/Pop or Chr/Rhythmic stations don't play.

Ha, KZON plays all of those. They, for some reason, just added Calabria into "frequent recurrent rotation" a few days or weeks ago.

KZZP plays two out of three. They dropped Calabria, but did jump on it when it was brand new. I'm actually not sure if they still play "memories" on KZZP, though. Of course they play Daft Punk. They've been doing that for the past 7 years.

Glad San Diego is finally catching up. ;D

I'm certain on KHFI & KHKS.

I believe the uptempo mix I heard yesterday was No Hands by Waka Floka.
