Possible Lawsuit For NJ101.5 ?

Craig Carton may have put the station in a tough position yesterday and today.
I hope this is not a fall book publicity stunt because it may turn out to be an expensive one for the station.
He's been advising Jackson NJ residents not to drink the water.
He also said they are being threatened with a lawsuit. Craig got the head of the Jackson water utility on the phone and they agreed to have a public water testing on Wednesday.

When the water is tested and turns out to be clean, could NJ101.5 be liable for millions of dollars in damages for a bogus public health scare and the loss of revenue from people not drinking the water ?

Just another thing people are looking to turn into a negative because those "nasty Jersey guys" have a roll in it. Some people just won't be happy unless there's something to gripe about or spin in a negative direction.<P ID="signature">______________

No spin here. Here's the Gannett article Craig referenced on Fridays show.

It clearly states a manhole smell problem not a tap water problem. Big difference. Another interesting note. Craig said it was breaking news yet it's not listed with the other news on the NJ101.5 website.

I would imagine managers and corporate attorneys are listening to Fridays tape of the Jersey Guy show to see if they may be in trouble.

Sounds like a perfect description of the Jersey Guys-particularly Carton.
