The word is that all or part of the WILN morning show is going to Cox in Tampa.....at least that is what I have heard.

Well, today's TRI newsletter confirmed their departure... I also heard they're moving to Tampa, but my little birdie told me its the CBS Hot AC station, WSJT, where they'll be landing.
 
I am glad my sources were right ;) I was beginning to wonder......this morning's TRI Newsletter made me feel much better about "my sources" since I posted this last week and no one commented on it.

HOT or Play would make sense, although I am not sure that Play has the budget for a 3 person am show. Would be a good hire for CBS though. Actually, for CBS, bringing them to Kiss in Charlotte would be a good (and challenging) move to replace Ace and TJ. Cox hiring them would seem right, since Kramer is also a programming guy and could help Clarke.

Guessing is half the fun!
 
Not sure where they're headed, but it was only a matter of time before they were snatched up by a large market. It's an uphill battle for a new morning show in any market - and if it matters, all three scenarios presented here would be nice fits for them - but if anyone's equipped for the challenge, it's these guys.

Announced on the TGK FB page earlier tonight that it's Play 98.7/Tampa.
 
Should be the Jump of the Week--from market #234 to market #20--this week or any other week.

Though probably not the first time for Island 106 talent. They've had more than their great share of air talents through that place...
