Recently, I've heard programming in Willimantic at 95.3 FM. The signal is faint, but something is definitely there.
So far, I've heard no mike breaks or station IDs, just music--and a bizarre mix of it, at that! In the three nights that I've caught this broadcast, they've played music as old as Glenn Miller's "American Patrol" and as recent as Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl." In the last few hours, I've heard reggae, classic country, old-time blues, punk, jazz, doo-wop, rockabilly, new wave, and classic soul (among other disparate genres).
If there's any rhyme and reason to this playlist, I damned sure can't see it. Suffice it to say, whoever's doing it, they've taken freeform to a whole new level!
