Possible pirate or repeater on 107.9 in Woodstock, GA

I was riding around on Saturday night 11/22/08 in Cherokee County surfing the dial and heard a station on 107.9 that played some Christian music and had a call sign saying city of origin was Woodstock, Canton (did not get the call sign letters). I wondered if it was a repeater signal coming from Sweat Mountain or if it was a pirate. When I went to work on Monday, the station was not there. I think I then heard Hot 107.9 from the southside which barely gets into the northern suburbs. Does anyone have any info?
 
There is an LPFM licensed to Canton on 107.9. I beleive they have an application before the FCC to change frequencies. Can't remember the new requested channel.
