Possible SIRI/XM Competition?

What a failure this wlll be. $1300 for the equipment, an antenna that looks like a popped Jiffy pop bag on your roof. $28 dollars for the service. Much easier to play the kids a DVD in the car. Sirius tried video and it's a failure. Is it competition Sirius? Sure if they create a radio band with music and talk. Where they would find such programming other than spend lots of money making it and buying rights to it, is beyond me.

The only hope for competition is a real, REAL reach. That hope would be that Sirius would be forced to abandon one of its present bands by the FCC at some point in the near future and that venture capital could be found in this market to launch such as service. Right now the chances are better for you winning Sunday's Daytona 500 in the family mini-van.
