This is sort of a follow-up to the guy who wants to know "how much" everybody "makes". Some people have no sense of boundaries.

But this did get me thinking; alot of the on-air people named have been in this market for many years. In some cases decades. And in some cases, not just within the same market, but in fact on the same station - even the same time slot. This, in an industry that seems to make vagabonds out of ordinary people. Isn't it a running joke that if you're in radio, you have an open account with U-Haul?

So, my question is, how do some people avoid that? In an industry that's known for turnover, how do some people manage to keep their jobs while so many take moving around the country as part of their careers?

Does job security come with a price; such as a slower rise in salary? Or is there something, say, Nancy Quill knows that many others don't?
