Hi all, TV/radio guy here possibly moving from NY for f/t opportunitiesin Florida. Just wondering, for a full timer, what is the averagesalary for say, a sports update anchor/event reporter on the radio,we have them here on WFAN in NY, and I hear them on South Floridastations on the web...what do those guys generally earn, if anyoneknows without revealing their own personal salaries of course! Thanks...RK

What I have heard is that South Florida pays somewhat less than similar size markets. You have warm winters, beaches and all those other things. Plus there is no state income tax in Florida nor a city income tax and prices are a bit lower than in Manhattan or the other boroughs.

But all of those are offset by insurance costs.
