POST-IBOC THOUGHTS

FM IBOC may actually be a good solution if the Fairness Doctrine is rammed through. Conservative talk is already moving to FM. If the FD is re-instituted, let the liberals have the HD-2s for equal time. Like liberal talk radio, the HD-2s have very few listeners and it's a good fit.
 
Good suggestion. But because it subverts the intended purpose of reinstitution of the Fairness Doctrine - to wit, silencing conservative talk radio - Louise Slaughter and Maurice Hinchey will never permit it. Even if you were somehow able to educate these clods about HD Radio and how it works, in itself a highly dubious proposition.
