Post Seattle FM Bandscans Here!

In this thread, you can post your FM bandscans (especilliay Bongwater ;) ) from the Seattle Area. Also you can tell me what your farthest FM catch was (for me it was KTRA 102.1 Farmington, NM one Sunday in July 2007 on that huge E-Skip day), and I don't care what antenna or radio you use, so its alright to post bandscans for two or more radios, OK?

Hey Bongwater.....Show us your DX skills and try for the new CHWK (The Hawk) 89.5 from Chilliwack (pumping out a huge 1,600 watts). They've been on the air for a week now and even up here KNHC causes problems for them.

FM from my old house in Aldergrove was fantastic. I could hear virtually everything on the air from Southwestern B.C. & Seattle-Tacoma. Mind you I also had a rotating FM antenna on the roof. The opposite holds true at my new apartment in Maple Ridge where rabbit ears only bring in a fraction of the stations that I regularily heard in Aldergrove. Sadly I had to donate the antenna to a local crackhead who sold it to a scrap metal dealer.

If you're interested I could give you my last bandscan from Aldergrove this past Fall.

I am interested. My grandmother lived in Aldergrove for almost 20 years and I'd like to see how your results compared to mine, discounting the stations that came on the air in the past 18 years.

I have experienced several interesting FM skip sessions over the years. In June 2002 I logged quite a few stations from the Phoenix-Prescott area, and in August 1999 stations from the Eugene-Corvallis area were booming in. One afternoon several summers ago while driving home from work a ton of stations from Reno-Tahoe-Sacramento suddenly appeared on the car radio. However my best recorded session occurred in August 2000 when I logged KVFX 94.5 Logan,UT, KROA 95.7 Grand Island,NE, KRGI 96.5 Grand Island, NE, KATR 98.3 Wray, CO, KKPR 98.9 Kearny, NE, KSYZ 107.7 Grand Island, NE, KGCR 107.7 Goodland, KS, and KPAW 107.9 Fort Collins,CO (4 new states in one swoop).
